Cloud Job Spooling: Azure
This feature allows the user to upload job files to the MyQ Cloud Spooling storage.
The feature is available from MRC version 2.2 patch 2 and requires Roger Server version 2.16+.
The feature is supported by Kyocera, Ricoh, and HP devices.
The failover printing feature is not supported on this configuration.
Enabling this feature disables OneDrive and Google Drive Cloud Job Spooling.
Printer and port configuration
If in the installation file name parameters PRINTERSPOOLER=2
or PRINTERSPOOLER=3
is used another printer will be created (2
will only create a CS printer, 3
will create local and CS printers) MyQ-Roger-MRCCS.
Configuration on the Roger Server
The property Monthly limit size (GB) by default is set to 100GB, and this space will be shared between all the users who have enabled the feature on the tenant.
Tenant administrators can disable or enable MyQ Cloud Spooling Storage from their account and set the file size limit allowed to be uploaded to the storage. They can also see how much of the monthly storage limit has been used.

MyQ Cloud Spooling Storage workflow
The user should be logged in to the MRC using any authentication method.
The user will print the job using the cloud spooling printer, and MRC will check
If the job exceeds the Maximum file size, the job will be discarded, local files will be deleted, and MRC will notify the user.
If the job exceeds the monthly limit size, the job will be discarded, local files will be deleted, and MRC will notify the user.
If the feature is not enabled and the user is authenticated into MRC using a Microsoft or Google account, the job will be uploaded to the corresponding user’s cloud storage.
This operation is asynchronous and can take some time, depending on the size of the job file.
If the printer driver produces a PDF file, on cloud storage will be stored as jobfilename.pdf, in any other case, the file extension is .myq.
